iPatch™ is a safe, easy-to-apply amniotic membrane allograft derived from human placental tissue and processed using the proprietary FORMULA/5™ method. iPatch™ is designed for simple, no-prep placement at the point of care, packaged in an easy-peel, double-pouch, and stored at room temperature until used. iPatch™ is confirmed to meet the highest internal standards and industry specifications.

Application Instructions

Placing the Allograft

iPatch™ is designed for simple, no-prep placement at the point of care.

  1. 1Remove allograft from the inner pouch using dry toothless forceps.
  2. 2Place the dry allograft directly on the ocular surface. Avoid exposing to moisture or humidity until placed. Gently flatten the allograft over the defect using toothless forceps or a sterile eye spear sponge.
  3. 3If needed, hydrate using sterile isotonic solution once placed on the defect.
  4. 4Cover with a bandage contact lens.

Pterygium Surgery

Used as a graft to cover the exposed sclera after removal of a pterygium, significantly lowering recurrence rates.

Corneal Ulcer & Defect Repair

Applied to promote healing of non-healing corneal ulcers, persistent epithelial defects (PEDs), and infectious keratitis.

Conjunctivochalasis

Amniotic membrane is used to reconstruct the ocular surface after the excision of redundant (loose) conjunctiva, especially in refractory cases.

Strabismus Surgery

Used in complex or revision strabismus surgeries to reduce postoperative scarring and restrictive adhesions.
